Sung Yeon Kim

Sung Yeon Kim is an adjunct professor in the Department of Product Design at Hongik University. She received her B.S. (1997), M.A. (1998), and M.P.S. (2005) in communication studies, graphic communication mgmt. & tech., interactive telecommunications from New York University, respectively, and Ph.D. (2012) in interaction science from Sungkyunkwan University. Her research interests include design for User Interface Design, Usability, Universal Design, Human Factors, and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). She was previously a full-time professor of the Yong-in Songdam College (2000-2003) and an adjunct professor of Hongik University (2007-2009). She has also been working as a product manager (2006-present).
Kwangsu Cho

Kwangsu Cho is an associate professor in the Department of Interaction Science, the director of Interaction Science Institute and the general director of UX Academy, Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), Seoul, Republic of Korea. He received his Ph.D. in cognitive science from the University of Pittsburgh, PA, USA. He has a wide range of research and development interests including human-computer interaction, multimodal user interfaces and experiences, human-robot interaction, accessibility and universal design for people with physical and mental impairments, and cognitive learning. He received a best researcher award of the year 2010-2011 from SKKU and was selected in 2013 as one of Donga Newspaper’s 100 influential people in future Korea. He has served as chairperson on several national committees in Korea including in user experiences and service sciences. He has also served as an editor of HCI Trends published by the Korean HCI Society and as an editorial board member of the Journal of Educational Psychology.
